The JBG Aravalli Ultra is the first event of JBG Endura Races, set in the breathtaking region of Aravalli Hills. This ultra-running series offers two race categories – 50 km and 100 km. The course begins from the sacred Ambaji Temple, a revered Shakti Peeth in India and takes participants through the Gabbar Hills and rugged terrains of the Aravallis. An ultra-run like ‘The JBG Aravalli Ultra’ is defined by its tough, raw terrain including ancient rugged roadways, rocky ascents, steep descents, fluctuating altitudes, and variable temperatures. Every step connects you to nature, history, and yourself.
The Terrain & Things to Do Around – You can make your journey even more memorable by worshipping at the Ambaji Temple and visiting nearby tourist attractions, especially Mount Abu. If you wish to explore local markets and tribal villages, do not miss out on the authentic Gujarati cuisine. You can visit the “Akhand Jyot” at the summit of Gabbar Hill after which visitors can embark on a 3 km Parikrama at the foothills, featuring replicas of other Shakti Peeths. In addition, the nearest airport is in Ahmedabad, just a three-hour drive away and another in Udaipur, which is equally convenient.
